Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor: Removal

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 
  3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT  (See COOLANT )
  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY  (See REMOVAL )
  5. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP WITH HOSE  (See REMOVAL  )
  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE  (See REMOVAL )
  7. REMOVE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector.
    2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor and gasket.
