Typical Enabling Conditions

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS

Monitor runs whenever following DTCs not present None

Manual Transmission 

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS

Engine coolant temperature 70°C (158°F) or more
Engine speed 1500 to 4000 rpm
Fuel cut at high engine speed Not executing
Engine load 31% or more
ECT sensor circuit fail (P0115, P0117, P0118) Not detected
MAF sensor circuit fail (P0101, P0102, P0103) Not detected

Automatic Transmission 

TYPICAL ENABLING CONDITIONS

Time after following conditions met: 3 seconds or more
Ignition switch ON
Park/neutral position switch OFF
Vehicle speed 5.59 mph (9 km/h) or more
Time after ignition switch off to ON More than 0.5 seconds
Transfer neutral switch (only for 4WD) Not N position
