Inspection Procedure

HINT:
After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.
- CHECK IF A PROPER CD IS INSERTED
- Make sure that the CD is a audio CD or a CD with an MP3 file, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, deteriorated, or otherwise defective.
OK: The CD is normal.
HINT:
- Translucent or uniquely-shaped CDs cannot be played.
- For details on playable CDs, refer to the Owner's Manual.
NG: DISC IS FAULTY
OK: Go to next step
- Make sure that the CD is a audio CD or a CD with an MP3 file, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, deteriorated, or otherwise defective.
- CHANGE DISC
- Replace the disc with another and recheck.
- Replace the disc with a known good one.
- Clear the DTCs (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).
- Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK: The same trouble does not occur.
NG: REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (See REMOVAL )
OK: END
- Replace the disc with another and recheck.
