Inspection Procedure
- INSPECT COMBINATION METER (SPEEDOMETER)
- Drive the vehicle and check that the function of the speedometer on the combination meter is normal.
OK:
Actual vehicle speed and the speed indicated on the speedometer are the same.
NG: GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM
OK: Go to next step
- Drive the vehicle and check that the function of the speedometer on the combination meter is normal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER - RADIO RECEIVER, STEREO COMPONENT AMP.)
- Disconnect the E19 meter connector.
- Disconnect the L13 (*1) amplifier or E49 (*2) receiver connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

STANDARD RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHARTTester Connection Specified Condition E19-39 (+S) - L13-11 (SPD) (*1) Below 1 Ω E19-39 (+S) - E49-3 (SPD) (*2) Below 1 Ω HINT:
*1: for Separate Type Amplifier System
*2: for Built-in Type Amplifier System
NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
