1. Clear the DTC (see DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

NEXT 

1. Perform the torque sensor zero point calibration (see CALIBRATION ).

NEXT 

1. Check for DTCs.

   HINT:

   Replace the steering column assembly if DTCs are still output even after performing the torque sensor zero point calibration 3 times.
