Inspection Procedure

1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the power steering ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance.

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   D15-12 (TS) - D31-11 (TS)	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance.

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   D15-4 (CG) - Body ground	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the power steering ECU connector.

2. Measure the resistance.

   Standard resistance 

   RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION
   
   

   Tester Connection	Specified Condition
   D31-11 (TS) - Body ground	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the power steering ECU.
2. Check for DTCs of the power steering ECU (See DTC CHECK / CLEAR ).

   Result
