VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (Engine Mounting): Installation

  1. INSTALL DUTY VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE 
    1. Connect the vacuum hose sub-assembly to the duty vacuum switching valve.

    2. Connect the hose to the duty vacuum switching valve.

    3. Install the duty vacuum switching valve with a bolt.

      Torque: 4.0 N*m (41 kgf*cm, 35 in.*lbf)

    4. Connect the duty vacuum switching valve connector and clamp.

  2. INSTALL VACUUM HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the clamp of the vacuum hose sub-assembly to the front engine mounting insulator assembly.

    2. Install the 2 clamps.

    3. Connect the vacuum hose sub-assembly to the air cleaner cap sub-assembly and vacuum switching valve.

  3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
