Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point CALIBRATION  .

HINT:

When U0123, U0124 and/or U0126 is output together with C1420, inspect and repair the trouble areas indicated by U0123, U0124, U0126  first.

  1. CHECK YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION 
    1. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor has been installed properly (See INSTALLATION  ).

      OK: The sensor should be tightened to the specified torque. 

      The sensor should not be installed in a tilted position. 

      NOTE: Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement (See TEST MODE PROCEDURE  ).

      HINT:

      If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step (See PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  ).

    NG: INSTALL YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR CORRECTLY  (See INSTALLATION  )

    OK: REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR  (See REMOVAL  )
