Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - ECM)

Turn the ignition switch off.
Disconnect the ECM connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance:

3MZ-FE

TC OF DLC3 - ECM (3MZ-FE)

Tester connection	Condition	Specification
D3-13 (TC) - E4-23 (TC)	Always	Below 1 Ω

2AZ-FE

TC OF DLC3 - ECM (2AZ-FE)

Tester connection	Condition	Specification
D3-13 (TC) - E5-17 (TC)	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - ECM)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK AND REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TC of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

TC OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND

Tester connection	Condition	Specification
D3-13 (TC) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OR EACH ECU (TC CIRCUIT)

OK: Go to next step

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CG of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard resistance

CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND

Tester connection	Condition	Specification
D3-4 (CG) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (CG of DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

OK: REPLACE ECM
