Clutch Switch: Inspection

  1. INSPECT CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the clutch switch.
    2. Measure the resistance and check that the results in accordance with the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard resistance 

      CLUTCH SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Switch pin released (Clutch pedal depressed) 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2 Switch pin pushed in (Clutch pedal released) Below 1Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the clutch switch.
