Yaw Rate And Acceleration Sensor: Installation

  1. INSTALL YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Connect the yaw rate sensor connector.
    2. Install the yaw rate sensor with the bolt, nut, and clamp.

      Torque: 13.5 N*m (138 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

  2. INSTALL CENTER PILLAR GARNISH LOWER RH 
    1. Engage the 2 clips and 3 claws, install the center pillar garnish lower.
  3. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  4. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  5. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 
    1. Connect the connector, (w/ illumination scuff plate)
    2. Engage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and install the rear door scuff plate.
  6. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY  (See INSTALLATION )
  7. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER RH  (See INSTALLATION )
  8. INSTALL FLOOR CARPET COVER CENTER LH  (See INSTALLATION )
  9. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY CENTER  (See INSTALLATION )
  10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

    w/o Front Seat side Airbag (See INSTALLATION )

    w/ Front Seat side Airbag (See INSTALLATION )

  11. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Power Seat) 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

    w/o Front Seat side Airbag (See INSTALLATION )

    w/ Front Seat side Airbag (See INSTALLATION )

  12. INSTALL SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

    For Manual Seat (See INSTALLATION )

    For Power Seat (See INSTALLATION )

  13. INSTALL SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER FRONT 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  14. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER LH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  15. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH 

    HINT:

    Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

  16. PERFORM YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY ZERO POINT CALIBRATION 

    (See CALIBRATION  )

  17. INSPECT ABS WARNING LIGHT AND VSC WARNING LIGHT 

    (See TEST MODE PROCEDURE  )

  18. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT 

    (See DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM )

  19. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 

    Some systems need initialization after reconnecting the negative battery cable. (See INITIALIZATION )

  20. INSPECT POWER SEAT OPERATION (for Power Seat)  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  21. INSPECT SLIDE ADJUSTER LOCK SIMULTANEOUSLY (for Manual Seat)  (See INSTALLATION )
  22. INSPECT SEAT HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System)
