- Disconnect the L13 or L14 amplifier connector.
- Disconnect the G1 or H1 speaker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- Check the front No. 1 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
OK: Front No. 1 speaker is normal.
NG: REPLACE FRONT NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Check the front No. 1 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER)
- Disconnect the L15 amplifier connector.
- Disconnect the G7 or H6 speaker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- Check the front No. 2 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
OK: Front No. 2 speaker is normal.
NG: REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Check the front No. 2 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER)
- Disconnect the L14 or L15 amplifier connector.
- Disconnect the J2 or I2 speaker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- Check the rear No. 1 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
OK: Rear No. 1 speaker is normal.
NG: REPLACE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Check the rear No. 1 speaker (see INSPECTION ).
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER REAR)
- Disconnect the L14 amplifier connector.
- Disconnect the Q5 speaker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

OK: Stereo component speaker rear is normal.
NG: REPLACE STEREO COMPONENT SPEAKER ASSEMBLY REAR
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Check the stereo component speaker rear (see INSPECTION ).
- CHECK SPEAKER
- Check that the speakers sound.

- Disconnect the H1 and H7, or G1 and G8 speaker connectors.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- Disconnect the E47 receiver connector.
- Disconnect the H7 or G8 speaker connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

- Check that the malfunction disappears when another speaker in good condition is installed.
OK: Malfunction disappear.
HINT:
- Connect all connectors to the speakers.
- When there is a possibility that either the right or left front speaker is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
OK: REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
NG: PROCEED TO NEXT INSPECTION PROCEDURE SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- Check that the malfunction disappears when another speaker in good condition is installed.
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER - REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER)
- Disconnect the E48 receiver connector.
- Disconnect the J2 or I2 receiver connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
