Section 486 (Turn Signal & Hazard Warning System): Inspection

- INSPECT TURN SIGNAL SWITCH CONTINUITY
If the continuity is not as specified, replace the switch.
- INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SWITCH CONTINUITY IDENTIFYING HAZARD WARNING SWITCH CONTINUITY
Condition Tester Connection Specified Condition OFF 5 - 9 No continuity ON 5 - 9 Continuity Illumination circuit 4 - 6 Continuity If the continuity is not as specified, replace the A/C control switch.
- INSPECT TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT
Disconnect the connector from the combination switch and inspect the connector on the wire harness side, as shown in IDENTIFYING TURN SIGNAL FLASHER CIRCUIT CONTINUITY .

If the circuit is not as specified, inspect the circuits connected to other parts.
