Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT A1RCONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove A/C amplifier with connectors still connected.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Measure voltage between terminals A9-12 (HAZ) and A10-14 (GND) of A/C amplifier connector.

      Voltage: 

      ON:10-14V 

      OFF: Below 1V

    1. NG: REPLACE AIR CONDITIONER AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    1. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between terminal HAZ of driver side J/B ECU and hazard switch.
    2. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between hazard switch and body ground.
    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOM TABLE, SEE  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  .
