Inspection Procedure

  1. Inspect DLC3 terminal voltage. 
    1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    2. Measure the voltage between terminal 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.

      OK: 

      Voltage: 10 to 16V 

    1. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   ). 
    2. NG : Go to next step. 
  2. Check harness and connector. 
    1. Check for open and short circuit in the harness and connector between the ECM and DLC3 (see HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
    2. Check for open and short circuit in the harness and connector between the DLC3 and body ground (see HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART AND INSPECTION PROCEDURE ).
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Proceed to next circuit inspection shown in problem symptoms table (See  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE   )
