Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of using the hand-held tester, start the inspection from step  1 and in case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step  2.

  1. Check door control receive using hand-held tester. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Connect the hand-held tester to DLC 3.

    CHECK: 

    Check that the door control receiver operate in ACTIVE TEST (See PRE-CHECK ).

    1. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  . 
    2. NG: Go to next step. 
  2. Check the door control receiver (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Replace the door control receiver. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between wireless door lock ECU and Body ECU (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC TABLE AND INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Proceed to next circuit inspection shown on  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE  .
