Inspection Procedure

  1. CHECK COURTESY LAMP SWITCH 
    1. Check the courtesy switch, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Terminal No. Switch position Specified condition
      1 <=> Body ground Push Continuity
      1 <=> Body ground Free No continuity

    1. NG: REPLACE COURTESY LAMP SWITCH 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (INTEGRATION RELAY <=> DOOR COURTESY SW) 
    1. Disconnect the integration relay and door courtesy connectors.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay and door courtesy switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Terminal No. (Integration relay <=> Door courtesy SW) Specified condition
      I11-13 <=> D5-1 Continuity

    3. Disconnect the each door courtesy switch connectors.
    4. Check the continuity between the terminals of the integration relay and door courtesy switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard:

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: GO TO NEXT STEP. 
  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TVIP ECU <=> LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT SW) 
    1. Disconnect the TVIP ECU and luggage comportment light switch connectors.
    2. Check the continuity between the terminals of the TVII ECU and luggage compartment light switch connectors, as shown in the illustration and table.

      Standard: 

      TERMINAL SPECIFIED CONDITION

      Symbols (Terminal No.). (TVIP ECU <=> Luggage compartment light SW) Specified condition
      DSWL (T3-35) <=> L4-1 Continuity

    1. NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR 
    2. OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN ON PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (See  ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT INSPECTION PROCEDURE  )
