Inspection Procedure

  1. Check interior light operation. 

    CHECK: 

    Check the interior light lights up when the door is open.

    1. NG : Check interior light system (See  INTERIOR LIGHT SYSTEM  ) 
    2. OK : Go to Next Step. 

  2. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and interior light. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T13 TVIP ECU connector.

    2. Disconnect the I26 interior light connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK: 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) (TVIP ECU <--> Interior light) Specified condition
    DMLP (T13-6) <--> - (I26-1) Continuity
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Check and replace TVIP ECU.
