Inspection Procedure

  1. Check security indicator. 

    Set the system in 30 seconds after filliping the security indicator to check that the alarm is triggered.

    1. OK : No problem. 
    2. NG : Go to Next Step. 

  2. Inspect glass breakage sensor. 

    PREPARATION: 

    Disconnect the S10 glass breakage sensor connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the terminals of the wire harness side connector.

    OK: 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) Specified condition
    MIC+ (S10-3) <--> MIC- (S10-4) Continuity
    1. NG : Replace glass breakage sensor. 
    2. OK : Go to Next Step. 
  3. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and glass breakage sensor. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T12 TVIP ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the S10 glass breakage sensor connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK: 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) (TVIP ECU <--> Glass breakage sensor) Specified condition
    MI+ (T12-18) - MIC+ (S10-3) Continuity
    MI- (T12-17) - MIC- (S10-4) Continuity
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness or connector. 
    2. OK : Check and replace TVIP ECU.
