Inspection Procedure

  1. Check power door lock control system operation. 

    CHECK: 

    Check that the power door lock control system is operating normally.

    1. NG : Check power door lock control system (See  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM  ). 
    2. OK : Go to Next Step. 

  2. Check harness and connector between TVIP ECU and unlock detection switch. 

    PREPARATION: 

    1. Disconnect the T12 TVIP ECU connector.
    2. Disconnect the D25 or D26 door unlock detection switch connector.

    CHECK: 

    Check the continuity between the wire harness side connectors.

    OK: 

    SPECIFIED CONDITION

    Symbols (Terminal No.) TVIP ECU <--> Unlock detection switch) Specified condition
    LSWD (T12-14) <--> - (D25-4) Continuity
    LSWP (T12-15) <--> - (D26-4) Continuity
    1. NG : Repair or replace harness and connector. 
    2. OK : Check and replace TVIP ECU.
