Inspection Procedure

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - BATTERY)
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the E7 connector of the ECM.

3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in Fig 2 .
  Standard:

  NG: GO TO STEP 2
OK: PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE (SEE PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE )
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - ECM)
1. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Disconnect the combination meter C7 connector.

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in Fig 3 .
  Standard:

  NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - ECM)
  
  OK: Go to next step.
CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - BATTERY)
1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in Fig 7 .

  Standard:

  NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSY - BATTERY)
  
  OK: Go to next step.
