Inspection Procedure

HINT:

In case of not using the hand-held tester, start from step  3.

  1. Whether or not this DTC is cleared when the power window is lowered from fully close condition to half opened condition. 
    1. YES: It is suspected that the DTC was detected by ECU with any failure in the past. 
    2. NO: Go to next step. 
  2. Check jam protection limit switch (See  INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Replace power window motor. 
    2. OK: Go to next step. 
  3. Check wire harness and connector between power window motor and power window master switch (See  HOW TO USE THE DIAGNOSTIC TABLE AND INSPECTION  ). 
    1. NG: Repair or replace wire harness or connector. 
    2. OK: Replace Power window master switch.
