Inspection Procedure

  1. Check voltage between terminals Tc and E 1  of DLC2 or DLC1. 
    1. Check  :
      1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
      2. Measure the voltage between terminals Tc and E1 of the DLC2 or DLC1.

    1. OK  : Voltage: 10-14 V
    1. OK  : If ABS warning light does not blink even after Tc and E1 are connected, ECU may be defective.
    2. NG  : Go to next step.
  2. Check for open and short circuit in harness and connector between ABS & TRAC ECU and DLC2 or DLC1, DLC2 or DLC1 and body ground.  See INTRODUCTION .
    1. NG  : Repair or replace harness or connector.
    2. OK  : Check and replace ABS & TRAC ECU.
