DTC 22: Compressor Lock Sensor Circuit

  1. Check compressor drive belt tension. See SPECIFICATIONS  table. Adjust drive belt tension as necessary. If drive belt tension is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect compressor lock sensor 4-pin connector. Measure resistance between connector terminals No. 2 (Brown/White wire) and No. 4 (White/Blue wire). See Fig 1. If resistance is not 65-125 ohms at 68°F (20°C), replace compressor. If resistance is 65-125 ohms at 68°F (20°C), check wiring between A/C control assembly and compressor lock sensor. Repair wiring as necessary. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If wiring is okay, compressor lock sensor circuit is okay.
