DTC No. 31: Ignition Key Code Recorded Differs From Ignition Key Code

NOTE: DTC No. 31 may be caused by an ignition key that is not registered.

Register ignition key again and check for DTCs again. See ADDITIONAL MASTER KEY REGISTRATION  or ADDITIONAL SUB-KEY REGISTRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If DTC No. 31 does not exist and engine immobilizer system operates properly, testing procedure is complete. If DTC No. 31 is reset again, replace ignition key due to defective transponder chip. Register replacement ignition key. See ADDITIONAL MASTER KEY REGISTRATION  or ADDITIONAL SUB-KEY REGISTRATION  under PROGRAMMING.
