Body control system controls the following systems: power door locks, keyless entry system, interior lights, headlights, taillights, seat belt warning indicators, rear window defogger and fuel gauge. Body Electronic Control Unit (ECU) is used for controlling these systems. Body ECU is connected to a multiplex communication system with Engine Control Module (ECM) and the combination meter. This communication system is referred to as the multiplex control system.
