Test Drive Confirmation

  1. Turn ignition off. Remove EFI (30-amp) fuse for at least 10 seconds. Connect jumper wire between DLC2 terminals TE2 and E1. See Figure. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature.
  2. Drive vehicle at 50-55 MPH for 10 minutes or more. Stop vehicle and allow to idle for 2 minutes or less. Accelerate vehicle to 60 MPH with throttle fully open (WOT). If malfunction exists, MIL will illuminate while accelerating under full throttle.
