Testing - System Operation Check

Turn ignition switch to ACC or ON position. SRS warning light in instrument cluster should glow and go out after about 6 seconds. If SRS warning light glows for more than 6 seconds with ignition switch in ACC or ON position, SRS system is malfunctioning and needs repair. If SRS warning light glows with ignition off, a short circuit is likely in SRS warning light circuit. See DIAGNOSIS & TESTING .
