Check Injector Operation

  1. Check for operating sound from each injector. With the engine running or cranking, use a sound scope to check that there is normal operating noise in proportion to engine RPM. See Figure.
  2. If you have no sound scope, you can check for injector clicking with your finger. See Figure. If no sound or an unusual sound is heard, check the wiring connector, injector or injection signal from ECU.
