NOTE: Recall Bulletin: Recall Bulletins are mandatory service procedures that, unless they can be completed via a software update that a customer installs through the normal course of ownership, must be carried out by Tesla-certified Service Centers. Recall work performed by uncertified technicians could lead to unsafe conditions or voided warranty provisions.

CONDITION

On affected vehicles, the vehicle software may need to be updated to ensure detection of a blinded B-pillar camera as is required by UNECER 79.03. This concern may arise when Autosteer functions outside of Full Self Driving (FSD) are in operation.

CORRECTION

Inspect the vehicle software version and if necessary, update the vehicle software to version 2024.26.7 or a later version.

PROCEDURE

On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls  (vehicle icon) > Software  , and then scroll down to display the vehicle software version.
