Module - Front Door Controller - LH - Remove And Replace: Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
  2. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
  3. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (x3), and then release the clip that attaches the harness to the LH front door controller module.

  6. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the LH front door controller module to the LH front door assembly, and then remove the module from the assembly.

    6 N.m (4.4 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 8 mm socket
