Module - Front Door Controller - LH - Remove And Replace: Install
- Position the LH front door controller module onto the LH front door assembly, and then install the bolts (x4) that attach the module to the assembly.
6 N.m (4.4 ft-lbs)
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 8 mm socket
- Connect the electrical connectors (x3), and then secure the clip that attaches the harness to the LH front door controller module.
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) .
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace) .
- Calibrate the rear doors.NOTE: If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
- Release the IP service panel.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "Service-Redeploy".
- Click SERVICE CAN REDEPLOY
, and then click Run
and allow the routine to complete.NOTE: The routine will state pass but the update will continue to run in the background. The UI will show update progress.NOTE: Click the "X" at the top right of window to close once complete.
- Reconnect Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
- In toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "BCFDM".
- Click Update_BCFDM
, and then click Run
and allow the routine to complete.NOTE: Click the "X" at the top right of window to close once complete.
- Disconnect Toolbox 3 and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
- Install the IP service panel.NOTE: Slide the panel forward engaging the datums, and then secure the tabs upward into the IP.
- Install the LH front door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace) .
