ABS Modulator Assembly - Remove And Replace: Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

CAUTION: Replace all patchbolt(s).
  1. Bleed the brakes, refer to BLEED OR FLUSH PROCEDURE - SYSTEM (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  2. Reinstall the latest vehicle firmware, or update the firmware if not the latest. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen or Firmware Update .
  3. Connect a laptop to the diagnostic port of the vehicle, and then use Toolbox 3 to locally connect to the vehicle.
  4. Unlock the vehicle gateway for diagnostic communication. See Gateway Unlock
  5. Using Toolbox 3:
    1. Select the Actions  tab and search for "ESP Configuration".
    2. Select the ODIN routine PROC_ESP_X_ESP-CONFIG  , and then click the link of the routine.
