TPMS (BLE) - Sensor ID Drive Learn: Procedure
WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 7 other vehicles, including the 2023 Tesla Model 3, 2022 Tesla Model 3, 2021 Tesla Model 3, 2020 Tesla Model 3, and 2019 Tesla Model 3. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Open LH front door.
- Connect to the vehicle with Toolbox 3.0.
- In Toolbox, select the Actions/Autodiag tab, and then enter "TPMS vsec".
- Select PROC_VCSEC_X_TPMS-ERASE-SENSOR-ID
, and then click Run
.NOTE: Click the "X" at the top of the window after the routine is complete.
- On the touchscreen, confirm that all TPMS values have been erased.NOTE: TPMS values will display a dash if erased.
- Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
- Test drive the vehicle to at least 15 mph (24 kph) for 1-3 minutes to reconnect the TPMS sensors.
- Confirm on the vehicle touchscreen that all 4 TPMS sensors are providing tire pressure readings.
