NOTE: See Personal Protection to make sure to wear proper PPE when performing the below procedure.

WARNING: Make sure 12V power has been disconnected for at least 2 minutes before disconnecting electrical harnesses from SRS components (sensors, modules, airbags, etc.). Failure to do so can result in unintended safety system behaviors. For more information on SRS precautions, see AIRBAG AND SUPPLEMENTARY RESTRAINT SYSTEM (SRS) PRECAUTIONS .

NOTE: This procedure applies only to the resistive pad occupancy sensor (i.e., Seat Belt Reminder). RH front seats in North America and South Korea use the Occupant Classification System (OCS) sensor, which is not currently serviceable.
