Sensor - Impact Accelerometer - Front Bumper - LH - Remove and Replace: Remove

  1. Disconnect 12V power. See 12V/LV POWER (DISCONNECT AND CONNECT) .
  2. Remove the front LH wheel arch liner. See WHEEL ARCH LINER - FRONT - LH (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
  3. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the LH front airbag sensor.

  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the airbag sensor to the front end carrier, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.

    10 N.m (7.4 ft-lbs) 

    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:

    • 10 mm deep socket
    • in std flex head ratchet
    • in flex head torque wrench (installation only)
