Module - Seat Memory - Front Seat - Remove And Replace: Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

1. Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
2. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway Unlock .
3. To disable seat install mode, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions  tab, type "Seat-Install" into the search field, click PROC_BCREAR_X_SEAT-INSTALL-MODE-OFF  , click Run  , and allow the routine to complete.
4. Choose from:
   • If replacing the memory seat module on the driver seat: To calibrate the driver seat, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions  tab, type "PROC_MSMD" into the search field, click PROC_MSMD_VCSEATD_FRONT-DRV_CALIBRATE-MEMORY-SEAT  , click Run  , and allow the routine to complete.
   • If replacing the memory seat module on the front passenger seat
     1. In Toolbox 3, click the Actions  tab, type "Sensor-Rezero" into the search field, click PROC_OCS_FRONT-PAS_SENSOR-REZERO  , click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
     2. To calibrate the front passenger seat, in Toolbox 3, click the Actions  tab, type "PROC_MSMP" into the search field, click PROC_MSMP_VCSEATP_FRONT-PAS_CALIBRATE-MEMORY-SEAT,  click Run  , and allow the routine to complete.
5. Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
