NOTE:

CONDITION
On some Model 3, Model Y, and Cybertruck vehicles operating with certain vehicle software versions from 2024.32.100 through 2024.44.1, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) malfunction telltale might not persist between drive cycles, which is noncompliant with FMVSS 138, S4.4(b).
CORRECTION
Inspect the vehicle software version and if necessary, update the vehicle software to a version that has corrected the issue.

PROCEDURE
On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls (vehicle icon) > Software , and then scroll down to display the vehicle software version.
- If the vehicle is operating with a vehicle software version listed in Table 1, or a later version, the vehicle already operates software that has corrected the issue; no further action is necessary. Use correction code S012400018.TABLE 1 - VEHICLE SOFTWARE VERSIONS WITH REMEDY
2024.38.7 2024.38.10 2024.40 - If the vehicle is operating with a vehicle software version listed below in Table 2, the vehicle might be affected by the issue; update to a software version listed above in Table 1, or later (refer to Service Manual procedure 00020003; Model 3, 2024+ Model 3, Model Y, Cybertruck ). Use correction code S022400018.
