Harness - Front Drive Unit - Remove And Replace: Removal
- Remove the HEPA filter outlet duct, see Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove and Replace)

- Remove the underhood storage unit, see Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install)
.
- Disconnect 12V power, see DISCONNECT 12V POWER .
- Remove the 12V battery bracket beam, see 12V BATTERY BRACKET BEAM (REMOVE AND REPLACE) .
- Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the coolant reservoir to the shock tower cross member (torque 6 N.m).

- Disconnect the coolant reservoir level sensor connector.

- Shift the coolant reservoir out of the way to gain access to the components behind.

- Disconnect the FDU resolver connector.

- Release the fir tree clip from the FDU enclosure.

- Disconnect the front drive unit oil pump connector.

- Release the fir tree clip from the oil chiller.

- Release the fir tree clips (x2) located next to the A/C compressor.

- Release the fir tree clips located on top of the drive unit.

- Disconnect the FDU inverter connector.

- Remove the FDU inverter connector latching mechanism from the connector.

- Release the fir tree clip next to FDU inverter connector.

- Remove the edge clip securing the FDU logic harness to the connector bracket.
