Sensor - Impact - B-Pillar - Remove And Replace: Removal

  1. Remove the HEPA filter outlet duct. See Duct - HEPA Filter - Outlet (Remove and Replace)
  2. Disconnect 12V power and the first responder loop. See Disconnect 12V Power .
  3. Remove the LH middle A-Pillar trim. See Panel - A Pillar Trim - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  4. Remove the LH sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - LH (Remove and Replace) .
  5. Remove the B-pillar lower trim. See Trim - B-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Install) .
  6. Disconnect the impact sensor harness connector.
  7. Remove the bolt that secures the impact sensor to the B-pillar (torque 10 N.m).
  8. Remove the impact sensor.
