Fuel Tank: Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• For installation, use a new fuel level sensor, fuel filter, and fuel pump assembly O-ring.
• Connect the quick connector as follows:
  1. Check the connection for any damage or foreign materials.
  2. Align the connector with the pipe, then insert the connector straight into the pipe until a click is heard.
  3. After connecting the quick connector, make sure that the connection is secure by checking as follows:

  4. Pull the tube and the connector to make sure they are securely connected.
  5. Visually inspect the connector to make sure the two retainer tabs are securely connected.
