Check Operation Of Trunk Opener Button Function

  1. CHECK BODY INTEGRATED UNIT SETTING  .

    Display the [Trunk Request SW Setup] data using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to BODY CONTROL (DIAGNOSTICS)>CUSTOMIZE .

    Is the setting [ON]?

    Yes:  Go to  2.

    No:  Turn the setting to [ON].

  2. CHECK DTC  .

    Read the DTC of [Body integrated unit] • [VDC] using Subaru Select Monitor. Ref. to COMMON (DIAG)>DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) .

    Is a DTC detected for each system?

    Yes:  Perform a check according to the DTC.

    No:  Perform the inspection according to the symptom chart (The door lock control system does not operate.). Ref. to SECURITY AND LOCKS>DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM>INSPECTION>SYMPTOM CHART .
