STI Model

  1. Remove the transmission assembly from the vehicle. Refer to MANUAL TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL (6MT) (TY85)>MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY>REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the release lever from the transmission.
  3. Using a flat tip screwdriver, remove the release bearing from the clutch cover.
