Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor: Installation

CAUTION:
  • Be careful not to damage the sensor.
  • Do not apply excessive force to the sensor harness.
  1. Install the sensor sub assembly front.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  2. Install the front wheels.

    Tightening torque: 

    120 N.m (12.2 kgf-m, 88.5 ft-lb)

  3. Lower the vehicle.
    NOTE: Check if the harness is not pulled and does not come in contact with the suspension or body while operating the steering.
  4. Connect the battery ground terminal. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY>GROUND TERMINAL REMOVAL OR INSTALLATION .
