NOTE: For detailed operation procedures, refer to "Application help".
Is DTC detected? Perform the diagnosis according to the "POWER SEAT MEMORY SYSTEM (DIAGNOSTICS)" information. Go to step .
4 CHECK POWER SEAT CONTROL MODULE.
  1. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  2. Display «Battery Terminal Voltage» on «Data monitor» of the power seat control module using Subaru Select Monitor.
Is the voltage 10 V or more? Go to step . Go to step .
5 CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT.
  1. Disconnect the power seat control module connector.
  2. Measure the voltage between harness connector and chassis ground.

    Connector & terminal

    (R155) No. 10 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

    (R156) No. 8 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

    (R156) No. 3 (+) - Chassis ground (-):

Is the voltage 10 V or more? Go to step . Check body harness.
6 CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT.
Measure the resistance between power seat control module harness connector and chassis ground.
Connector & terminal
(R156) No. 14 - Chassis ground:
(R156) No. 12 - Chassis ground:
Is the resistance less than 10 Ω? Go to step . Check body harness.
7 CHECK HARNESS.
  1. Disconnect the power seat control module connector.
  2. Measure the resistance of the following harnesses.

    Connector & terminal

    Slide:

    (R156) No. 15 - Chassis ground:

    (R156) No. 16 - Chassis ground:

    Tilt:

    (R156) No. 5 - Chassis ground:

    (R156) No. 4 - Chassis ground:

    Lifter:

    (R156) No. 2 - Chassis ground:

    (R156) No. 1 - Chassis ground:

    Reclining:

    (R156) No. 7 - Chassis ground:

    (R156) No. 6 - Chassis ground:

Is the resistance value 10 kΩ or more? Replace the power seat control module. Check the harnesses between power seat motor and each motor and between power seat control module connector and each motor.
