DTC P05C0 Active Grille Air Shutter Module "A" Over Temperature: DTC Detecting Condition

Immediately at fault recognition

CAUTION: After servicing or replacing faulty parts, perform Clear Memory Mode < Ref. to OPERATION , Clear Memory Mode. >, and Inspection Mode < Ref. to PROCEDURE , Inspection Mode. >.
DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step Check Yes No
1 CHECK DTC. 
  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and cool down the engine enough.
    NOTE: Cool down the engine unit until it can be easily touched by hand.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  3. Check for DTC. < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >
 Is P05C0 displayed in «Present fault»? Replace the active grille shutter. < Ref. to ACTIVE GRILLE SHUTTER . > Even if DTC is detected, it has returned to a normal condition at this time.
NOTE: In this case, there may have been a temporary rise of the temperature in the engine compartment.
