Only The Occupant Detection System Cannot Establish Communication For Initializing

NOTE: The occupant detection system communicates with the Subaru Select Monitor via the airbag control module.

Detecting conditions

The harness connector between the airbag control module and the occupant detection control module is faulty.

Trouble symptoms

Communication between the airbag control module and the occupant detection control module is not possible.

Inspection steps

Perform the diagnosis procedure from step  2 of "DTC B1650 Occupant classification system malfunction."
