When an error occurs in the seat belt buckle switch or replacing the switch, check the operation status of each sensor.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
  2. Connect the SSM3 to the DLC3.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
  4. Turn on the SSM3.
  5. Select the following menu items: [Occupant Detection System]/[Current Data Display & Save].
  6. Check the values referring to the list below.

    Trip Count - -
    Count - -
    Time Count - -
    Buckle Switch OFF/ON The P seat seat-belt is fastened "ON" The P seat seat-belt is not fastened "OFF"
    Passenger Occupant Status Adult or Child/Empty or Child An occupant is seated "Adult or Child"
    Empty or a child seat is installed "Adult or Child"
    Passenger Airbag Status - -
