Inspection Mode 6

DTC Item Note
B2284 Brake Signal (Cable-Information Does Not Match to Bean-Information) -

Diagnostic procedure:

  1. Prepare for the inspection mode. <Ref. to PREPARATION FOR THE INSPECTION MODE , PROCEDURE, Inspection Mode.>
  2. Turn the ignition switch to ON, depress and hold the brake pedal for 20 seconds of more, then release the brake pedal and wait for 20 seconds and more.
  3. Read the DTC and check that the DTC is not displayed.
    NOTE: If the DTC is displayed on the screen, the trouble is still present. Perform the diagnosis according to DTC.
