DTC B1763 Occupant Detection Module Calibration Checksum: DTC Detecting Condition

Malfunction is detected on vehicle delivery or at memory writing for «Rezero».
Occupant detection control module is faulty.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Step	Check	Yes	No
1 CHECK DTC. Read the DTC of the occupant detection system. < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Are DTCs other than DTC B1762 and B1763 displayed for the occupant detection system?	Perform the diagnosis according to DTC. < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Go to step 2 .
2 PERFORM RE-ZEROING. Perform «Rezero». < Ref. to REZERO . >	Did «Rezero» complete properly?	Go to step 3 .	Replace the occupant detection system (seat cushion & frame assembly). < Ref. to PASSENGER'S SEAT , DISASSEMBLY, Front Seat. >
3 CHECK DTC. Perform the Clear Memory Mode. < Ref. to CLEAR MEMORY MODE . > Turn the ignition switch to OFF, and wait for 60 seconds or more. Read the DTC of the occupant detection system. < Ref. to READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . >	Is DTC B1763 displayed?	Replace the occupant detection system (seat cushion & frame assembly). < Ref. to PASSENGER'S SEAT , DISASSEMBLY, Front Seat. >	When DTC other than B1762 is displayed for the occupant detection system, perform the diagnosis according to the DTC. < Ref. to LIST OF DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) . > When DTC is not displayed, end the diagnosis.
